Kia got Laurence Fishburne to resurrect his iconic role as Morpheus from The Matrix for their K900 Superbowl commercial. It’s painful to watch roles be sold out like that, however this one wasn’t too bad. Morpheus singing “Turandot, Act 3: Nessun Dorma” wasn’t something we ever really expected out of the Captain, but sure, why not. That song gives us chills as is, so the exploding lights and tossed cars just added to the drama of it all. As far as car commercials go, Kia might have won best car commercial this year.
