If you’re planning a trip to Seattle any time soon, be sure to stop by LTD. Art Gallery to see this incredible collection of over 70 artist renditions of Game of Thrones art which was personally OK’d by George RR Martin himself.
The closer the season premiere creeps, the more goodies we seem to get.
This morning we got to see several samples from the art show going on in Seattle (Check out that link for more information, the entire thing is actually gold and there are more images).
The gallery’s owner James Monosmith worked with Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin on the collection and the result is nothing sort of satisfying. There’s a wide variety of mediums and scenes which should satisfy the palette of any art aficionado.
The show will be running at Seattle’s LTD. Art Gallery through March 23rd.
Hypable is also following GOT and released the names and running times of season 4 shows:
The titles released are quite evocative of the brooding atmosphere of Game of Thrones season 4. Episode 1 will be titled “Two Swords,” and will run for 58 minutes. Episode 2, “The Lion and the Rose” – presumably referring to the long-awaited wedding of King Joffery and Margaery Tyrell – will run for 52 minutes. The title of episode 3, “Breaker of Chains,” (56 minutes) almost certainly refers to Daenerys’ rule in the former slave city of Meereen. Meanwhile, episode 4, “Oathkeeper,” (54 minutes) likely links back to episode 1, for reasons which we will not spoil here.
All sorts of exciting things are coming this season! 9:00pm on April 6th can’t come soon enough. Suppose we’ll have to just rewatch the first 3 seasons…or read the books.
