Sleepy Hollow Wraps Up a Sensational First Season in 2 Hour Special
I don’t think I’m the only one to express some pretty severe disappointment over the fact that Fox’s hit new show, Sleepy Hollow won’t get a full season this year (tonight’s episode makes a solid 12/13 for the new show), but the finale promises to end on a dramatic note. In a recent interview with Zap2it.com, Orlando Jones (who plays Captain Irving) promised, “it’s going to be really bada**. I think people are going to be surprised and we’re really, really proud of it.”
Some things to watch out for tonight?
- A conspiracy-level discovery about the “true nature” of George Washington’s death. Last week’s episode left us with a mysterious note from Washington, dated four days after his official demise.
- Captain Irving faced with another impossible choice between his family and the battle for good and evil. (Man, this guy cannot catch a break, can he?)
- Another trip to purgatory?
- The reappearance of Katrina Crane?
Of course, the episode synopsis promises an “explosive” turning point in the ultimate war between Heaven and Hell, a collision of worlds, a test of loyalties, and inevitable sacrifices. So tune in to Fox tonight at 9pm/8c to catch the latest adventure of Lieutenant Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) in “The Indispensible Man/Bad Blood.”
Sleepy Hollow will return fall of 2014 for a confirmed 13 episodes which will begin filming in March, and executives from the network have hinted that more could be produced.
