Why July 8th Was A Good Day on Facebook

For those who tuned in early in the morning on Facebook, the day did not disappoint. We really could have used that on a Monday, but whatever, we’ll take it on Tuesday too. Diagon Alley Officially Opened (image source via link below) Never before have I been to Universal Studios, but thanks to all my friends in Florida who got to preview the soft openings and articles like this pointing out Easter Eggs have made me add Orlando to my list of destinations. And This Is How You Do 2014

The 86th Academy Awards didn’t disappoint last night. This year was great for movies and people everywhere just weren’t exactly certain who to put their money on for Best Actor, Best Actress, or Best Film. The 2014 Oscars were a little lower key than most people wanted, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say anyone was disappointed with the results. J.K. Rowling Says Profound Things Regarding Relationships in ‘Harry Potter’

The interview that was heard about around the world is finally out, and J.K. Rowling opens up into real human detail about Hermoine, Ron, and Harry. New Post-Potter Revelations from J.K. Rowling Leave Fans Stunned

J.K. Rowling uses her pen like a wand, and she just stupefied the fandom. In a shocking interview for Wonderland Magazine, conducted by Emma Watson (basically Hermione Granger incarnate), beloved author J.K. Rowling came out and said it: Hermione and Ron Weasley shouldn’t have ended up together. Anyone else need a second? I did. Rowling goes on to insist that she put Hermione and Ron together out of wish fulfillment and a regard for the way she initially imagined the story rather than literary intent.…

Why aren’t more people talking about this? Russell Crowe brings Noah to the big screen.

Why haven’t I heard about this before now? For some reason, NOAH has completely slipped under my radar. NOAH’s all star cast looks wildly promising: Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, so on and so forth. If nothing else, the fans will most likely enjoy seeing all their favorite actors on screen together. However the trailer looks great, so I’m expecting it to be more than eye candy. The flood myth isn’t exclusive to Christianity, it’s found throughout the world in varying cultures,…
