What do Captain Hook and Tom Hiddleston have in common? A love for expressing themselves in song, apparently.
It might surprise some that, given his cinematic success in the last few years(i.e. Thor, Avengers), Tom Hiddleston has a role in the fifth installment of Disney’s Fairy Series The Pirate Fairy, headed straight to Blu-ray/DVD this April.

Hiddleston and Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) voice a young Captain Hook and Fairy Zarina (respectively) who steals pixie dust from Tinkerbell (Mae Whitman, Parenthood) for certain nefarious reasons (pillaging and plundering, you know, “Pirate Stuff”). Add this to the list of villains that Hiddleston seems to relish playing. For an actor who has a reputation for being the ultimate good guy, he certainly loves to be bad, doesn’t he? Oh well, he always makes for a villain you can’t help but love and his rendition of the legendary Captain Hook is no exception. Check out a glimpse of Hiddleston’s take on Peter Pan’s foe below! Catch The Pirate Fairy on blu-ray and DVD April 1st!
