Oh my gosh, yes! Yes! A million times yes! So first off, we should say thanks to Nerd Approved for sharing this Patrick Stewart clip in the first place, because it’s funny as all get out. Let’s Talk About the Menage Ensabre

We’ve established the Stephen Colbert is a fanboy, but he’s not only that, but he’s the fandom’s greatest defender. Steven Colbert has proven himself quite the conservative, except when it comes to fandoms. He’s really into LOTR and now we’ve been exposed to his lighter side with this Star Wars clip from a recent show. The Hanging Tree

Jennifer Lawrence Sings The Hanging Tree

Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen singing ‘The Hanging Tree’ is one instance where the movie did the book incredible justice

If you haven’t seen Mockingjay Part 1 this clip won’t ruin anything for you, but it just might get you super excited for this particular scene!

There’s a moment in the book where Katniss is sitting in a tranquil outdoor setting in District 13 and is asked by one of her entourage to sing. She thinks about it for a moment and then starts to sing the perfect song at the right time.

It goes to show the Girl on Fire is the voice of the revolution.

While I personally have qualms with the movie, it is undeniable that this particular scene, while itself somewhat unimportant in the book, was goose-bump inducing in the theater. The studio did a brilliant job transitioning Suzanne Collins song from paper to screen and made ‘The Hanging Tree’ the vital part of the story that the author wanted it to be. Hats of to Lionsgate for making this moment chilling.

Not only that, but ‘The Hanging Tree’ has put our favorite leading lady Jennifer Lawrence on Billboards top 100 chart.

Daniel Radcliffe Subtly Cast an Expelliarmus Charm and Left Us All Stupified

I thought you might need to be pulled out of that spell Daniel Radcliffe just put you under. Radcliffe is one hundred percent known the world over as “Harry Potter.” I don’t think anyone has ever seen a picture of him and went “Hey! That’s Arthur Kipps!” so it was riddikulusly refreshing to see…

Open Your Ears To: The Complete Harry Potter Series

By this point, Larkable doesn’t have to tell you how amazing Harry Potter is, you just know. But do you know how amazing it is when narrated by Jim Dale? (Image Source One of the very first audiobooks I listened to was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. An 8 hour car ride seemed painfully long and while I have hours of music to listen to, why wouldn’t I listen to Harry Potter instead? Yeah, exactly, that’s an excellent argument, right? Audiobooks were the thing…

Why July 8th Was A Good Day on Facebook

For those who tuned in early in the morning on Facebook, the day did not disappoint. We really could have used that on a Monday, but whatever, we’ll take it on Tuesday too. Diagon Alley Officially Opened (image source via link below) Never before have I been to Universal Studios, but thanks to all my friends in Florida who got to preview the soft openings and articles like this pointing out Easter Eggs have made me add Orlando to my list of destinations. Rita Skeeter…

Fassbender and McAvoy Love Your Fanfiction

In the last several years, it would seem that fanfiction has taken on a life of its own. Evidenced by the massive success of “50 Shades of Grey,” and the upcoming publication of a One Direction fanfic called “After.” And of course, long before fanfics were published, plenty of big authors like Cassandra Clare got their start on sites like fanfiction.net. For many rabid fangirls (this author included), fanfiction wasn’t some big mystery. For many actors and talk show hosts? It might have been —…

The Fan-Made Doctor Who Trailer for Series 8 is better than the Official Trailer for Series 8.
