It’s real! It’s confirmed! Benedict Cumberbatch is set to join the elite ranks of of Marvel men in Doctor Strange.

We love Benedict Cumberbatch in everything he does, but perhaps he didn’t wow us more than when he played Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness. There was action, he was his usual despicable self, and we loved it.

Now it’s been confirmed that the very same man is set to play Doctor Steven Strange in Marvel’s upcoming Phase 3 Doctor Strange film franchise.

From the early days when this writer heard the rumors, I had to figure out just what Doctor Strange was about. Luckily, Doctor Strange is on Netflix.

I have to say I’m really excited! Is Cumberbatch going to use an American accent? Is he going to get along with Bruce Banner? His ego might clash with Tony Stark in the Marvel universe; that’s too much cocky sexy genius for one screen. Banner is definitely more humble and I think we’ll enjoy what we see there.

Whatever, now I’m rambling.

All in all, we’re just excited to have this coming! Benedict Cumberbatch is a brilliant character actor and we can’t wait to see Doctor Strange on November 4, 2016!
